Character/Theme
In "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde", the character I'm most drawn to is Dr. Jekyll. I say this because he is so mysterious and seems he has a really interesting side to him that seems to be really weird but frighting on one hand. He is a character that is very shady and hides away in his laboratory like a tiger going to catch his prey, keeping himself distant from those who are supposed to be his old close friends. His mood changes a lot through out the story seeming as if he is bipolar and creates a dilemma in how his friends think and judge him. I currently believe that Stevensen was trying to pass a message through the character Jekyll, even the person you think is your friend may be in fact hiding horrible secrets.
